All Trades Queensland has first, second and third year apprentices and trainees to suit all types and all ares of construction. We assess all our applicants individually and make sure the right apprentice go to the right workplace. From commercial development / large crew constructions to specialised, small scale builders and fitters, we have the right man or woman for the job.

We also give employers the flexibility to hire short term or long term quickly and easily with none of the industrial, health safety and Work Cover hassles that can cripple construction sites.

How much will it cost?
The cost to employ an apprentice or trainee varies depending on the relevant industry award, allowances and the number of years the Apprentice has already completed.
How am I charged?
ATQ will send you one weekly, all-inclusive invoice with wages, superannuation, work cover insurance, income protection, holidays, sick days, TAFE training allocations and travel allowance built in.
Can I return an apprentice?
If your workload is reduced or if an apprentice is not performing to your expectations, please discuss it with your ATQ Workforce Officer and you can return the apprentice with a 7-day notice period and they will be placed elsewhere.
Do you cover Workers Compensation?
ATQ are insured through the QLD Workers Compensation scheme which provides cover if our apprentices or trainees are injured at work. ATQ will lodge a claim and manage your rehabilitation on your behalf.
What if my apprentice is injured off the job?
All ATQ apprentices are provided with income protection for injuries that occur outside of normal working hours. All claims are assessed based on the eligibility criteria of the insurance documents.
