All Trades Training, a part of All Trades Queensland – Australia’s largest commercial employer of apprentices and trainees, is off to a strong start for 2018 as we report over 1,000 active enrolled training students as of February 2018.
As of February 2018 we have 1,036 active enrolments which is major achievement and leap from a humbling 60 students only two and a bit years ago. FY17 has represented a year where many new milestones were reached and challenges overcome. A big driver of our growth was due to the strategic expansion of two additional training campuses. With the new openings of our North Side, Banyo and also Gold Coast, Nerang campuses we are able to meet market demand and service these high growth areas. Our new campuses will continue to contribute to our long-term strategy and see continued growth and development for training and employment outcomes.
Starting out with just a handful of courses, growing our training arm was always a key priority for us, in which we strive to offer a 3600 offering; being able to offer a student a pre-apprenticeship, that would lead to an apprenticeship and trade certification with All Trades Queensland, return and complete a post-apprenticeship course to set them up as a future employer and effectively, in turn, returning to hire an apprentice to grow their business.
Through effective collaboration with our employers and in-depth industry knowledge we have acquired over 30 years, our vocational work-ready courses and qualifications developed based on the feedback we receive from our everyday employers. However, in addition and aside from our core cohort of employers and apprentices, we have been able to grow the number of students who aren’t employed by All Trades Queensland (directly employed) to 146 students. We anticipate this will grow exponentially with our provision of unique and tailored training solutions.
Our outlook for 2018 reflects the increasing momentum and growing confidence from the Queensland trade industry in All Trades Training as a respected training provider. We will continue to focus on delivering quality training and employment outcomes to our students through our industry developed courses and team of professional, supportive trainers and mentors.
