Over 200 new apprenticeship opportunities will be developed when All Trades Queensland opens its next training facility in Brisbane’s North next month. The training and employment hub, situated at Banyo, will be a skills base for Carpentry, Electrical and Painting Apprentices providing a trusted industry training partner to employers north of the river.
In the first 12 months, the Banyo Training Centre will develop hundreds of new apprenticeship opportunities with Pre-Apprenticeship courses scheduled to commence in early July. The Hub has been designed specifically to accommodate an ever-growing scope of All Trades Training, which is continuing to support industries and jobs growth.
Employers and Tradesman will be able to access the facility for training in licensed and short courses including working at heights, safety and first aid courses. Serving as a training and employment hub for Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast, it will provide a focal point for existing host businesses who currently utilise All Trades QLD in the local region and industry at large.
The brand-new facility will be hosting an Open Day in early August with details to follow.
