Apprenticeship Employment Requirements
If you're interested in a particular apprenticeship or traineeship, contact us to find out what requirements you need to meet.
To give you an idea, different trades have different requirements.
If you wish to apply for an apprenticeship as an electrician, fitting machinist or airconditioning/refrigeration mechanic, a pass in a pre-vocational course is necessary.
For all other trades a pass in a pre-vocational course or some industry experience is highly regarded but not necessary for an apprenticeship.
School reports are required to be viewed but do not necessarily determine whether you will be successful in your application.
Anybody can apply for an apprenticeship or traineeship with All Trades Queensland. We firmly believe in equal opportunity for all applicants, male and female.
In most cases we can only employ apprentices or trainees who have their own transport. If you are applying for a position within the construction industry you will definitely be required to have your own vehicle and licence. Apprenticeships within the automotive industry also definitely require a drivers licence.
